Camping in Cardiff

Cardiff is a great city to visit.  Full of shops, pubs and events, the city sprawls out from the castle at the city edge.

As with all cities, accommodation in Cardiff can vary in price, but within a mile’s walk of the Castle is the Cardiff Caravan & Camping Park.  A relatively small site, it has about 100 pitches varying from electric hard standing to grass tent pitches.  It is a little pricy at £27 per night for a non-electric van pitch, but it’s location cannot be better.  A short stroll through the park and you are right in the centre of Cardiff in about 15minutes.  It has well kept toilet and shower blocks, a cafe and a bike rental scheme.  The staff are friendly and there is 24 hour access to the site, which is perfect if you are going to an event at the principality stadium or motorpoint arena.
