GPS tracking
Decided to get a tracker, yet to test and install…..but I won’t be saying where it is! Only cost £23 all in and has no subscription. I’ll probably upgrade it, but figured at this price its worth a try and to test how it works. Continue reading GPS tracking

The first breakdown
I was on route to getting an estimate to restore my body work. Smoke started pouring out of the engine, frightened the life out of me. Made me happy to have purchased a fire extinguisher! Turned out to be steam, so thankfully no risk of fire. After an hour wait for the AA, the van was fixed at the roadside and I was on my way. It … Continue reading The first breakdown

A sink to keep clean

I chose to make my own sink out of a melanin bowl which I found to be aesthetically … Continue reading A sink to keep clean
Tackling the ceiling and lights (sort of!)
Next for me was the ceiling. My primary aim was to get the spot lights in place to reduce my bill for when I have the electrics sorted (which for me is a professional job). First remove the ceiling. This was actually pretty easy. Mine was made of two panels. Each slipped into the cross beams of the ceiling and then fixed into place by … Continue reading Tackling the ceiling and lights (sort of!)
Let’s make it impossible to roll off the bed!
The bed is in, but that is all so my “comfy” space both in terms of sitting and sleeping is limited. My solution is to build a side bench and a side cupboard. My layout choice is unusual. The standard T4 conversion has a 3/4 width seat/bed with a bank of cupboards along one side which house the stove and fridge. I grew up with … Continue reading Let’s make it impossible to roll off the bed!
