The T25 has very limited space for the leisure battery. I need to confirm my space as the van is in the garage but I believe it is:

I’m going to try to add in the Renogy Smart lithium iron phosphate battery. This has a small enough foot print but is too tall by approx 10mm.

The battery size on the website is misleading. Here are the actual dimensions from the manual.

The plan is to make the lid of the battery compartment higher by adding a lip. But to do this across the whole lid will interfere with the ability to push the passenger seat all the way back. To be honest, we almost never push this seat back. We also don’t have a swivel seat and no plans to install this function so raising the lid should not pose a problem.
What I may do though is just raise part of the lid where the battery connectors are. This will allow the seat to go back but also to have a slightly taller battery. Left = original, right = proposed.

taking this approach will require me to update the linking wires. They are currently like this:

I plan on swapping connection to ring connectors that can slide onto the 8mm connector posts.
Question is, will it work?
