The main reason I bought wind deflectors was so that I could pop my windows down a touch while driving on the motorway without the noise the wind typically makes if you don’t have deflectors! Of course, if my van had air con, this wouldn’t be an issue…but that is wishful thinking.

I chose the HEKO VW T4 Transporter Caravelle Camper Wind Deflectors due to their slim profile and  easy installation. At about £40 they were also reasonable in price.

I won’t lie, they were still a fiddle to get on, but it was a case of getting clips into the right place and then winding the window up on the deflectors while they were in place. No drilling, no screws needed. More than just tap holding them in place.

Did a great job, and looked nice!
